PERFORMANCE MARKETING & PPC AGENCY FOR AHMEDABAD BRANDS

AHMEDABAD COUNTS EVERY RUPEE. Your ads should too.

I’m Akshit. My team runs Google, Meta, LinkedIn and WhatsApp ads for Ahmedabad brands, judged on what each rupee brings back, measured from your own sales or CRM. We’re Gurgaon-based and work with you by appointment, mostly on video.

YOU’LL ASK WHAT IT COSTS. Then ask what it returns.

Business in Ahmedabad runs on margins and on memory. People here know what they paid and what came back, and they negotiate accordingly. When an Ahmedabad founder asks me about ads, the question is rarely about creative. It’s whether the money comes back, and how they’ll know.

That instinct is right, and it’s exactly what most agencies dodge. They report cheap clicks and cheap leads, because those numbers always look good. Then the sales team calls the leads and half of them never pick up. For a trader or a manufacturer who checks the books every week, that isn’t marketing. It’s a leak.

So I start where you would. We agree one number up front, usually cost per qualified enquiry or return on spend measured from your own sales. We build the accounts in your name, on your card. We fix the tracking before spending more. And for B2B sellers with long sales cycles, we feed real orders back to Google and Meta so they learn which clicks became customers.

The clearest example I have is an ecommerce brand we’ve worked with for two and a half years. Its Performance Max returns now run about 27x the industry norm. Not on day one. It happened because years of SEO built a warm audience the platforms could find again and again. That’s the honest version of performance marketing: a system that compounds.

One more thing, plainly. We’re based in Gurgaon, at WeWork Forum in DLF Cyber City, with no office in Ahmedabad. We work with Ahmedabad brands by appointment, mostly on video. Request an appointment and we’ll open your ad account together.

THE AHMEDABAD AD MARKET, as I see it.

AHMEDABAD, INDIA

Ahmedabad’s biggest industries are some of the hardest to advertise. These are the realities I plan around.

01

Pharma has the strictest ad rules

Gujarat produces about 30% of India’s pharmaceuticals, and Google’s healthcare policy for India allows over-the-counter medicines only in line with local law and keeps prescription drugs out of online pharmacy ads and landing pages. Plan your campaigns around what you can promote, before anyone writes an ad.

02

GIFT City firms should check verification first

GIFT City reports more than 1,000 entities operating. Google requires financial services verification in India, and its list of accepted Indian regulators names RBI, SEBI, IRDAI and others, but not IFSCA, the GIFT City regulator. Confirm your route with Google before planning a launch.

03

Exporters need ads outside India

Gujarat contributed 46.16% of India’s chemical exports in FY26. For an exporter, the buyer is in another country, the cycle runs for months, and one order can pay for a year of spend. That calls for search and LinkedIn in target markets, judged on enquiries that become orders.

04

Navratri is its own season here

Navratri falls in September or October every year, followed by Dussehra, and in Gujarat those nights reshape evenings, shopping and screen time. Consumer brands in Gujarat should plan creative and budget around those nine nights, not copy a national Diwali plan.

THE FULL PAID MEDIA PRACTICE →
  1. 01

One agreed number before any spend

Cost per qualified enquiry, return on spend after returns, or orders against spend. Chosen with you, measured from your CRM, store or order book, reported every week.

  2. 02

    Tracking for long sales cycles

Pixel, Conversions API and offline conversions, so a B2B order that closes three months after the click still teaches Google and Meta who your buyers are.

  3. 03

Export campaigns that find real buyers

Google Search and LinkedIn aimed at the countries and job titles that place orders, with landing pages built around your products and specifications.

  4. 04

    WhatsApp done within the rules

Click-to-WhatsApp ads and opted-in follow-ups, not bulk blasts that get numbers blocked. Every chat tagged by outcome so the ads learn.

  5. 05

    Compliance before launch

Pharma and healthcare rules, financial services verification and consent built into forms, so campaigns don’t stall at review.

  6. 06

Accounts you own, fees you can see

Your Business Manager, your Google account, your card. Our fee is separate from your spend, and nothing leaves with us.

WORK THAT backs this up.

All work

Two brands we work with. Meteamo launched from zero and now holds a steady monthly run rate at 6x ROAS, with every rupee traced to an order. Juhi Nanda couldn’t hold 1x ROAS in slow months until we rebuilt the tracking and funnel underneath. Peak months now run at 6x, with no discounting needed to get there.

WHAT AHMEDABAD FOUNDERS ask me.

REAL QUESTIONS, ANSWERED PROPERLY

Which is the best PPC company in Ahmedabad?

The one that agrees a measurable number with you before it starts, puts the ad accounts in your name, and can explain last month’s decisions in plain language. A ranking of agencies won’t tell you that.

Google suggests “best ppc company in ahmedabad” and “top ppc company in ahmedabad” for good reason. There are many agencies here, and most claim to be the best. So judge on evidence, not adjectives.

Ask to see a result for a business like yours, with the timeframe and how it was measured. Ask who manages your account each week, and speak to them. Ask how they’ll connect ad results to your CRM, your store or your order book. Ask what happens to the accounts if you leave. And ask for a sample weekly report from a current client, with names removed.

If you’re a manufacturer or exporter, add one more. Ask how they’d measure a lead that takes three months to become an order. Many agencies only know how to count form fills, and that’s the wrong number for B2B.

Good answers are specific and slightly cautious. They talk about tracking, creative, testing and where budget moves each week. Weak answers talk about guaranteed ROAS and how many leads they can get you.

My rule: choose the agency that explains its decisions, not the one that promises outcomes.

How much does a performance marketing agency charge in Ahmedabad?

Published Indian guides put agency fees at roughly ₹50K to ₹300K a month plus 10 to 20% of ad spend, with hybrid models of ₹30K to ₹100K plus 5 to 15% of spend. Those are agency claims, so treat them as bands, and remember the ad spend sits on top.

Ahmedabad owners are good at this conversation, and I’d encourage you to push. But push on the right thing. The fee alone tells you very little. What matters is what sits inside it and what number it’s tied to. Is the tracking fixed? Is creative included? Who decides where money moves each week? How is success measured, and from whose data?

The trap I see is the cheap retainer that comes with a percentage of spend. It looks affordable, then grows every time the budget grows, and nobody on the agency side has a reason to argue for spending less.

One startup-focused guide suggests a three-month pilot on one or two channels before a longer contract. Sensible, if you agree up front what the pilot has to prove.

For transparency, we scope every engagement after an audit and agree the retainer in writing. Your ad spend goes on your own card, never through us, so there’s no hidden markup. We’re not the cheapest option, and we’re worth it when your spend is large enough for better decisions to cover the fee several times over.

My rule: negotiate the number you’ll be judged on before you negotiate the fee.

Can I pay a PPC agency only on results, like a commission?

You can find agencies that offer it, but pure commission rarely works well for either side. A fair middle ground is a fixed fee tied to one agreed number, with a clear exit if that number doesn’t move.

I understand the appeal, especially in a trading city where commission is a familiar way to do business. If the agency only earns when you earn, the risk feels shared. The trouble is in the details. Commission needs a definition of a result that both sides trust. For ecommerce, is it revenue before or after returns and cash-on-delivery refusals? For B2B, is it the enquiry, the quote or the paid order, which may arrive months later?

It also needs the agency to see your real sales data, and many family businesses, quite reasonably, don’t want to open their books to an outsider. Without that, the agency falls back on platform numbers, which tend to flatter the ads.

There’s a quieter risk too. An agency paid only on immediate sales will chase the quickest wins and avoid anything that builds demand over time.

What I’d suggest instead: a fixed fee, a written 90-day plan, one number measured from your own data, and a notice period you can live with. If the number doesn’t move and nobody can explain why, you leave.

My rule: share the measurement, not just the risk. If you can’t agree how a result is counted, commission won’t save you.

Can pharma companies run Google Ads in India?

Yes, within limits. Over-the-counter products, B2B manufacturing, contract services and recruitment can usually be advertised. Promoting prescription medicines to the public is where you’ll hit a wall.

This matters a lot in Ahmedabad. Gujarat produces about 30% of India’s pharmaceuticals, and many of those companies sit in and around the city. Google’s healthcare and medicines policy for India lets pharmaceutical manufacturers promote over-the-counter medicines in line with local law. Online pharmacies need LegitScript certification and can’t promote prescription drugs in their ads or landing pages. Indian law also restricts advertising certain drugs and claims to the public, so your regulatory team should be in the loop from the first brief.

What works well for pharma advertisers is often B2B. Search campaigns for API names, formulation types, contract manufacturing and export enquiries, aimed at procurement teams in India and abroad. LinkedIn for reaching purchasing and regulatory roles. Landing pages that list capabilities, certifications and approvals in plain text.

The failure I see is a team that writes consumer-style ads for a regulated product, gets rejected, resubmits the same thing, and then flags the account. Read the specific rejection reason and fix it.

My rule: in pharma, decide what you’re allowed to promote before you decide what you want to promote.

Do Google Ads work for B2B manufacturers and exporters in Ahmedabad?

Yes, when the campaign targets what buyers search for and success is measured in orders, not form fills. Most failures I see come from running B2B ads like consumer ads.

Gujarat contributed 46% of India’s chemical exports in FY26 and makes 65 to 70% of India’s denim, so plenty of Ahmedabad businesses sell to buyers they’ll never meet in person. Those buyers search for product names, grades, specifications and supplier types. They don’t search for your brand or your city.

Here’s what works. Tight search campaigns on high-intent product terms, run in the countries you export to. Landing pages built around each product family, with specifications, certifications and MOQ in plain text. LinkedIn for reaching procurement and technical roles at target companies. And offline conversion tracking, so when an enquiry becomes a quote and then a paid order, Google learns which searches led there.

The tradeoff is patience. A B2B cycle can take months, so early weeks are judged on enquiry quality, not revenue. With few conversions, automated bidding also needs time and clean data to learn.

The mistake is buying broad keywords, counting every form fill as a win, and quitting at week six because orders haven’t arrived.

My rule: in B2B, judge week one on the search terms, month one on enquiry quality, and month six on orders.

Are Google Ads cheaper than IndiaMART leads?

Sometimes per lead, often per order. The honest comparison isn’t cost per enquiry. It’s cost per paying customer, measured from your own books.

Google’s suggestions for “indiamart leads price” and “indiamart leads review” show how closely Ahmedabad businesses watch marketplace lead costs. Marketplaces are fast and predictable, and for many traders they’re the first channel that worked. The catch is that a buyer on a marketplace often sends the same enquiry to several suppliers, so every lead starts as a price negotiation.

A Google Ads enquiry works differently. The buyer searched, chose your ad, saw your own page and wrote to you. Those leads can cost more each, and they tend to arrive with more intent. But that only holds if the campaign targets serious terms and the landing page does its job. Badly run Google Ads can be far more expensive than any marketplace.

So test it properly. Run a focused search campaign on your best product terms for a few months. Track every enquiry from both channels into one sheet or CRM, and mark which became orders and at what margin. Then compare.

I wouldn’t drop the marketplace while you test. Run both, and let the numbers decide.

My rule: compare channels on the cost of an order, not the cost of a phone number.

Should we run Meta ads in Gujarati or English?

Test both, because the answer depends on who you sell to. For local consumer brands in Gujarat, Gujarati creative often deserves a real test. For B2B and national audiences, English usually stays the default.

I see two opposite mistakes. One is a Gujarat-focused brand running polished English ads that feel distant from the people it sells to. The other is a brand translating its English ads word for word into Gujarati, which reads stiff and loses the tone that made the original work.

Here’s how I’d set it up. Write Gujarati versions from scratch with a native writer, not a translation tool. Keep the offer, the audience and the budget the same, and change only the language, so the test is fair. Many people here mix Gujarati and English, so try a mixed version too. Run the test long enough to see differences in cost per qualified lead or sale, not only clicks.

Language targeting on Meta isn’t perfect, and plenty of Gujarati speakers set their phones to English. So judge the creative on results from your target area, not on the language setting.

The tradeoff is production. Two languages means twice the creative to refresh, so start with your top one or two ads.

My rule: let your customers vote with their clicks and purchases, not your own preference.

Is bulk WhatsApp marketing safe, or should we use click-to-WhatsApp ads?

Use click-to-WhatsApp ads and messages people have agreed to receive. Bulk WhatsApp blasts to bought or scraped lists break WhatsApp’s rules and put your number at risk.

Google suggests “bulk whatsapp marketing in ahmedabad” as you type, and I understand why. WhatsApp is how a lot of business gets done here, and blasting a list feels cheap. But WhatsApp’s Business Messaging Policy says you can only contact people who have given you their number and opted in to hear from you. It also says users can block or report businesses, and that WhatsApp may limit your messaging if you get significant negative feedback. A blast to cold numbers is exactly how that happens.

Click-to-WhatsApp ads flip it round. The ad runs on Facebook or Instagram, the buyer taps it and starts the chat, so they’ve chosen to talk to you. Your team can qualify them in minutes, share a catalogue and quote, and tag each chat by outcome so results flow back to Meta.

The catch is speed. If nobody replies for hours, that intent is gone. You need staffed hours or an automatic first reply, and a simple script.

We moved one of our clients, Niramaya Soul, from lead forms to a WhatsApp funnel. Cost per lead fell by more than 85%, and monthly revenue grew more than 10x.

My rule: let the buyer start the conversation, then reply within minutes.
