SEO & AI SEARCH AGENCY FOR DUBAI, UAE · ENGLISH AND ARABIC

DUBAI ASKS IN TWO LANGUAGES. Be the answer in both.

Seven in ten working-age people in the UAE use AI, and ChatGPT carries most of it. I’m Akshit. My team gets Dubai brands ranked on Google and named in the AI answer, in English and Arabic. We do it from our office in India, openly, and on your clock.

I’M NOT IN DUBAI. Here’s why that’s fine.

Let me get the obvious thing out of the way. AB Media Co is based in Gurgaon, India. We don’t have a Dubai office, and I won’t pretend otherwise with a virtual address. What we do have is real work in the UAE, including OCP Medical Center in Dubai, where Google, Meta and SEO together delivered 500K+ leads in two years.

Dubai is one of the most interesting search markets I work in. It moves faster on AI than almost anywhere. Microsoft’s research puts AI use among working-age people in the UAE above 70%. So when a resident looks for a clinic, a school, a property agent or a supplier, there’s a real chance the shortlist comes from ChatGPT or Google’s AI Overview, not a page of links.

It’s also a two-language market, and that’s where I see Dubai brands lose the most. They translate the English site into Arabic and expect it to rank. It rarely does, because Arabic searchers use their own words, not translated ones.

India is an hour and a half ahead of the UAE, so our working day sits almost entirely inside yours. You get senior people on your calls, a monthly report built from your own data, and every account in your name from day one.

THE DUBAI MARKET, as I see it.

DUBAI, UAE

Dubai rewards brands that are visible in both languages and trusted by the sources AI reads. Here’s what I weigh before I plan anything.

02

Google still sends the traffic

Google handles about 93% of searches in the UAE, and its AI Overviews support Arabic. So the blue links still matter, and the AI answer above them matters more every month, in both languages.

03

Arabic SEO is its own job

Searches like “arabic seo agency uae” show buyers already know this. Arabic keyword choices differ by country and by spelling, and a literal translation of your English keywords misses how people really search. Gulf phrasing beats a generic translation.

04

Promotion now needs a permit

The UAE Media Council’s Advertiser Permit brings paid and unpaid online promotion under licensing, and the council urges companies to work only with licensed creators. Any creator or influencer tactic for AI visibility has to respect that.

WHAT WE DO FOR Dubai brands.

THE FULL AI SEARCH PRACTICE →
  1. 01

Measure your answers in both languages

We run your buyers’ real questions through ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI in English and Arabic, three times each, and show you how often you’re named against competitors. That’s your Share of Decision.

  2. 02

Fix the technical SEO of a bilingual site

Hreflang, URL structure, right-to-left rendering, schema and speed. Bilingual sites break in quiet ways, and every break costs you in Google and in AI answers.

  3. 03

Arabic pages written for Arabic searchers

Native Gulf Arabic content built from how people actually search, not translated from English. Same facts, different words.

  4. 04

Google Business Profile and UAE listings

Maps visibility across Dubai and the other emirates you serve, with your details identical everywhere.

  5. 05

Mentions on the sources the engines trust

We find the publications and directories AI engines cite for your category in the UAE and earn your place there, within the Media Council’s rules.

  6. 06

A monthly number, on your schedule

Same questions, both languages, rerun monthly beside Search Console and GA4, and reviewed with you at a time that suits Dubai.

WHAT DUBAI FOUNDERS ask me.

REAL QUESTIONS, ANSWERED PROPERLY

Which is the best SEO agency in Dubai?

The one that can show you results in your category in the UAE, explain how it handles Arabic, and tell you plainly who does the work. Lists won’t answer this for you.

Dubai has a lot of agencies, and many of the “top 20” lists you’ll find are published by agencies that rank themselves first. That doesn’t make them bad, but it means you have to do the judging. The real worry behind this question is usually being sold a polished pitch and then handed to juniors, or paying Dubai prices for work that never touches Arabic search.

On your first calls, ask: show me a UAE result in a category like mine, with the timeframe. How do you handle Arabic keywords and content, and who writes it? Will I own Search Console, GA4 and Business Profile access? How will you show me whether I appear in ChatGPT and Google’s AI answers? And what does the contract say about notice and content ownership?

The best agencies tend to be specific and a little cautious. Google itself says nobody can guarantee a top ranking, so treat guarantees as a reason to leave.

My rule: hire the agency that shows you your current AI answers before it shows you its awards.

Should my website be in English or Arabic for SEO in the UAE?

Both, if your buyers search in both, and in most Dubai categories they do. The real question is how you build the Arabic side, because that’s where most sites go wrong.

English is the working language for a large part of Dubai, and plenty of searches happen in English. But Arabic searches carry real commercial intent, especially for services aimed at Emiratis and Arabic-speaking residents across the Gulf. Google’s AI Overviews support Arabic too, so the AI answer exists in both languages.

The common mistake is publishing a literal translation of your English site. Arabic searchers use their own phrasing, spelling varies (hamza and alef variants are a classic trap), and the dialect matters. For the UAE, Gulf phrasing or Modern Standard Arabic usually works better than Egyptian or Levantine wording.

Technically, give each language its own URL, set hreflang correctly, check that right-to-left pages render properly, and keep facts like prices and addresses identical in both versions.

My rule: if a meaningful share of your buyers would naturally ask in Arabic, build Arabic pages from Arabic research, not from translation. If they wouldn’t, put that budget into English and earn your mentions first.

How much does SEO cost in Dubai?

Published Dubai pricing runs from about AED 1,500 to 5,000 a month for local businesses, AED 3,000 to 10,000 for ecommerce, and AED 10,000 and above for international or very competitive work. Bilingual sites usually cost more.

Those bands come from agencies’ own published guides, so use them as a guide, not gospel. One Dubai guide puts B2B retainers at AED 4,000 to 15,000 a month plus setup, and native Arabic pages at AED 400 to 900 each. That last figure explains why bilingual SEO costs more: proper Arabic content is written, not translated.

The real risk at the low end is a quote that looks cheap because the Arabic work, the reporting or the content is quietly missing. Ask for a line-by-line scope. The same guide advises getting content ownership in writing and a three-month notice option after the first six months, which I think is sensible.

Every engagement with us starts with a $1,500 Share of Decision audit, credited to your first month, and we scope the retainer from what the audit finds. It covers SEO and the AI search work together, in both languages where you need them.

My rule: compare scopes, not prices. A cheaper quote with no Arabic and no AI answer tracking isn’t cheaper.

Is SEO still worth it in Dubai now that AI answers everything?

Yes, but the job has grown. Google still handles about 93% of UAE searches, so organic visibility still feeds your business. What changed is that many buyers now get their answer before they click.

In the UAE this shift is moving faster than in most places. AI use among working-age people is above 70%, and ChatGPT dominates AI chat here. So a Dubai buyer comparing clinics, schools or suppliers may read an AI Overview or ask ChatGPT, then act on the brands it names without visiting ten websites.

That changes what you should pay for. Rankings alone are no longer the scoreboard. You want to know whether you’re named in the answer, how often, and which sources the engines rely on. The good news is that the work underneath is the same foundation: a technically clean site, clear answer-first pages and consistent facts. AI answers read the same web.

The mistake is cutting SEO because traffic dipped, when the real story is that clicks moved into answers. Look at enquiries and branded searches, not just sessions.

My rule: keep investing in SEO, but measure it the new way, in answers as well as rankings.

Can an agency outside Dubai do SEO for a Dubai business?

Yes, as long as it understands the market and you can reach a senior person when you need one. Being in Dubai Marina or Downtown isn’t what makes SEO work. Knowing how your buyers search is.

I’ll be transparent. We’re based in Gurgaon, India, and we don’t keep a Dubai address for show. India is an hour and a half ahead of the UAE, so our working day overlaps almost entirely with yours, and calls happen in your hours.

The real worry behind this question is usually accountability. Will the agency disappear after signing? Will they understand Dubai’s mix of languages and nationalities? Will the price make sense? Those are fair questions for any agency, local or not. A Dubai office doesn’t guarantee senior attention either, and plenty of local agencies outsource the actual work.

What matters is that you know who does the work, can speak to them, own every account, and see a monthly report built from your own data. Ideally, they’ve also done real work in the UAE. Ours includes OCP Medical Center in Dubai.

My rule: judge an agency by its UAE work and its access, not its postcode.

How do I get my Dubai business recommended by ChatGPT?

Become the brand the web keeps describing as a good answer, in the languages your buyers use, and make your own pages easy to quote. There’s no submission form for ChatGPT.

When a Dubai resident asks ChatGPT for the best option in your category, the answer draws on what the model has learned and, more and more, on live web sources. It leans on third parties: reviews, regional news, comparison articles, directories and forums. If those sources rarely mention you, you won’t be named.

Here’s where I’d start. Ask ChatGPT and Google’s AI the ten questions your buyers ask, in English and in Arabic, and record who gets named and which sites get cited. Those sites are your targets. Make sure your own pages put the answer first, with real facts in plain text, and that your name, location and services match across Google Business Profile, directories and social profiles.

One UAE-specific caution. If you plan to use creators or influencers to build mentions, the Media Council’s Advertiser Permit rules apply, so work only with licensed creators.

My rule: earn the mentions honestly, in both languages, and measure the answers every month.

Can one agency cover SEO for Dubai and Abu Dhabi?

Yes. Most of the work is the same, and buyers move between emirates. But treat each emirate you serve as its own local market, especially on Google Maps.

People search “seo agency abu dhabi” and “best seo company abu dhabi” separately from Dubai, and Maps results depend on where the searcher is. A Dubai-only Business Profile won’t win Abu Dhabi searches, however good your site is. That’s distance, one of the things Google weighs for local results, and you can’t fake it.

So if you have a real presence in both emirates, give each location its own profile and its own page with specific content: the area served, the team, the services offered there. If you operate from Dubai but serve Abu Dhabi clients, say so honestly on a service-area page rather than inventing an address. Google treats fake locations as spam, and it can take your real listing down with it.

For AI answers it’s similar. The engines look for evidence that you serve a place: reviews from customers there, regional press, local directories.

My rule: one strategy for the UAE, but earn each emirate on its own evidence.

How do I show up on Google Maps in Dubai, and what does it cost?

Build the most complete, consistent and well-reviewed Google Business Profile in your category for your area, and make your website back it up. The profile itself is free. Maps is a big channel in Dubai, and it runs on its own signals.

Google weighs relevance, distance and prominence for local results. Relevance comes from the right primary category, services and descriptions, and a website page that matches what you offer. Prominence comes from reviews, local mentions and links. Distance you can’t change.

Where I see Dubai businesses slip: the wrong primary category, an English-only listing for an Arabic-speaking audience, a phone number that differs between the website and directories, opening hours nobody updates for Ramadan, and reviews nobody replies to. Each one costs you places in the pack.

On reviews, ask every happy customer and reply to every review, in the language it was written in. Never buy reviews or reward people for positive ones. It breaks Google’s policies and puts your listing at risk.

What you pay an agency for is the setup, the consistency work across listings, and keeping it active every month.

My rule: complete it, keep it consistent, keep it alive.
