SEO & AI SEARCH AGENCY IN DELHI NCR

DELHI SHOPS IN THE ANSWER NOW. Be the name it gives.

Search “seo company in delhi” and Google’s AI names six agencies before the first link. The same thing is happening in your category. I’m Akshit, and my team gets Delhi NCR brands ranked on Google and named in the AI answer, measured every month.

IF YOU’VE BEEN BURNED before, read this.

A lot of the Delhi founders I speak to have already hired an SEO agency once. Some twice. The story is usually the same: eight months, a monthly report full of green arrows, and no extra enquiries. By the time they reach me, they don’t want another pitch. They want someone to tell them the truth.

So here it is. SEO in Delhi NCR is slow, crowded and worth it, if the work is real. And it has changed shape. Your buyers in South Delhi or Noida don’t just search anymore. They ask ChatGPT, or they read Google’s AI Overview and never scroll. The answer names a few brands, and that’s the shortlist.

I’ve watched this up close with a Delhi retailer we’ve worked with for two and a half years. In 2024, AI assistants sent Mahajan Electronics zero sales. Today AI search is a seven-figure sales channel for them. That didn’t come from a trick. It came from doing the boring parts properly for a long time, and then making sure the machines could see it.

That’s the work I want to do for you. SEO done properly, the AI answer measured honestly, and you owning every account from day one. No guarantees. A clear plan for the first 90 days, and one number every month that tells us both whether it’s working.

DELHI NCR SEARCH, as I see it.

DELHI, INDIA

Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon behave like one market online, but people still search like locals. Here’s what shapes the plan.

01

The AI answer is already deciding shortlists

Google handles about 97% of searches in India, and for commercial searches the AI Overview increasingly sits on top. For “seo company in delhi” it names six agencies before any organic result. Your category is heading the same way, if it isn’t there already.

02

Buyers look for guarantees, and that’s the trap

Google suggests “guaranteed seo company in delhi” as you type, which tells you how many people want one. Google’s own guidance says no one can guarantee a number one ranking, and India’s 2022 rules on misleading advertising cover false guarantees.

03

Locality matters inside the city

People search for the “best seo company in south delhi” or “west delhi”, and for services by neighbourhood. Delhi is too big for one city page and one Business Profile to cover well. Your pages and listings have to match how people actually search.

AI search here works in Hindi too

Google launched AI Mode in India in English, then Hindi, then more Indian languages. If your buyers ask in Hindi or Hinglish, your content and your brand facts need to be findable that way as well.

WHAT WE DO FOR Delhi NCR brands.

THE FULL AI SEARCH PRACTICE →
  1. 01

A baseline of your AI answers

We ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI the 100 questions your buyers ask, three times each, and show you how often you’re named against your real competitors. That’s your Share of Decision, and it’s the number we move.

  2. 02

    SEO that holds up

Crawlability, speed, schema, internal linking and clean titles, each fix documented with how to verify it. It’s the unglamorous part, and it’s usually where founders who’ve been burned find their last agency cut corners.

  3. 03

    One market, many localities

Pages and listings for the parts of Delhi NCR you actually serve, from South Delhi to Noida, with your name, number and category identical everywhere.

  4. 04

Content in the language your buyers use

Answer-first pages built from real customer questions, in English and, where your buyers search that way, in Hindi.

  5. 05

Mentions on the sources AI trusts

We find the sites the engines cite for your category and earn your place on them through Digital PR, rather than buying links that disappear.

  6. 06

A monthly report you can check

The same questions rerun every month beside Search Console and GA4. You see what moved, what didn’t, and what we’re doing about it.

WHAT DELHI FOUNDERS ask me.

REAL QUESTIONS, ANSWERED PROPERLY

I fired my last SEO agency after eight months and zero results. What should I ask before hiring the next one?

Start with the questions that would have exposed the last one. Most failed SEO engagements I hear about in Delhi didn’t fail on skill. They failed on vagueness: nobody agreed what would be done, by whom, or how success would be measured.

So before you sign again, ask for the first 90 days in writing, as work, not promises. Which pages get fixed, which get written, which mentions get pursued. Ask who exactly will do it, and whether you can speak to them. Ask how they’ll report, and insist the report starts from your Search Console, GA4 and enquiry data, not a tool’s estimate. Ask whether you’ll own every account from day one. And ask what happens if you leave: do the content and the access stay with you?

Then look back at your last agency’s reports. If rankings rose for phrases that never brought a customer, that’s the pattern to avoid. Good SEO moves enquiries and revenue, not just positions.

One more question I’d add: ask them to show you who ChatGPT and Google’s AI name in your category right now. If they can’t, they’re measuring last decade’s game.

My rule: if you can’t write down what they’ll do in month one, don’t sign.

Is there a guaranteed SEO company in Delhi?

There isn’t an honest one. Google’s own guidance says no one can guarantee a number one ranking, so a guarantee tells you more about the agency than about your future rankings.

I understand why people look for one. Google even suggests “guaranteed seo company in delhi” as you type. If you’ve been burned before, a guarantee feels like protection. It isn’t. In practice it usually means you’ll rank for a phrase nobody searches, or the “ranking” is measured in a way your customers never see, or the tactics will get your site penalised once Google catches up.

There’s a legal side too. India’s 2022 guidelines on misleading advertisements cover false guarantees, and they apply to advertising agencies, not only brands.

What you can fairly ask for is a commitment to work and to measurement. A clear list of what happens in the first 90 days. Monthly reporting from your own data. And a way out if the work isn’t being done, such as a short notice period after the first few months.

My rule: a guarantee of outcome is a warning. A promise of effort, written down, is a contract worth signing.

Which SEO company in Delhi has the best packages?

The best package is the one whose deliverables you can list, line by line, and connect to revenue. Price comes second.

Delhi agencies advertise packages from about ₹8K a month to ₹50K and beyond, and Indian price guides go past ₹300K for larger brands. The trouble with most packages is that they’re built around counts: so many blog posts, so many backlinks, so many keywords tracked. Those numbers are easy to sell and easy to deliver without moving anything. One published Indian guide says plainly that retainers under ₹15K tend to be activity-based rather than outcome-based.

When you compare packages, ignore the counts and ask what problem each item solves. Which technical issues get fixed, and when? Which pages get rewritten, and why those? How will they get you mentioned on sites that matter? How will they show you whether you appear in Google’s AI Overview and in ChatGPT?

For transparency: we don’t sell packages. Every engagement starts with a $1,500 audit, credited to your first month if you continue, and we scope the retainer from what it finds. We’re not the cheapest option in Delhi, and the work covers SEO and AI search as one piece.

My rule: pay for problems solved, not units delivered.

Should I hire an SEO freelancer or an agency in Delhi?

It depends on how many skills the job needs. A good freelancer is often the right call for a small site with one clear problem. Once you need technical SEO, content, local listings, digital PR and AI answer tracking at the same time, one person can’t cover it well.

Here’s the honest trade-off. A freelancer is cheaper, usually more personal, and you know exactly who’s doing the work. The risk is depth and continuity: one person can’t be expert in everything, and if they get busy or move on, your progress stops. An agency costs more and can hide juniors behind a senior pitch, but it brings several specialists and keeps going when someone is on leave.

The mistake I see in Delhi is founders hiring a freelancer for a job that needs a team, then blaming SEO when it doesn’t work. The opposite happens too: a small local business paying agency fees for work a freelancer would do just as well.

If your site is small, your market is one locality and your budget is tight, start with a strong freelancer and your own Business Profile. If you need to compete across Delhi NCR and in AI answers, you need a team.

My rule: match the size of the team to the size of the problem.

Can one agency handle SEO across Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon?

Yes, and it should, because your buyers move across all three. But one agency covering NCR doesn’t mean one page covering NCR.

Google treats local searches by place. Someone in Noida searching for your service sees a different Maps pack from someone in Saket or Cyber City. With only one location page and one Business Profile, you’ll show up near your address and fade everywhere else. That’s distance, one of the three things Google weighs for local results, and you can’t change it. What you can change is your relevance and prominence in each area you serve.

So the work looks like this. A real page for each area you serve, with content specific to it, not the same text with the city name swapped. A Business Profile for each physical location you have, and only those. Reviews and local mentions from customers in each area. And identical name, address and phone details everywhere.

One caution. Don’t create profiles at addresses where you don’t operate. Google treats that as spam, and it can take your real listing down with it.

My rule: one agency, many places, every place earned honestly.

What does an AI SEO agency in Delhi do that a normal SEO agency doesn’t?

It treats the AI answer as the thing to win, and it can show you that answer. Normal SEO stops at rankings. AI search starts where the click disappears.

Here’s a live example from my own industry. Search “seo company in delhi” on Google and an AI Overview names six agencies before you see a single result. Those six didn’t buy that spot. Google chose them from what the web says about them. The same thing is happening for lawyers, schools, clinics and shops across Delhi.

So an AI search agency should do three extra things. Measure how often you’re named across many questions and many runs on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI, because the answers change each time. Find the sources those engines rely on for your category. And get you mentioned there, while keeping your brand facts identical everywhere.

In India there’s a language layer as well. Google’s AI Mode works in Hindi and several Indian languages, so if your buyers ask in Hindi, your brand needs to be findable that way.

My rule: ask any agency to show you today’s AI answers for your category before they quote. If they can’t, they’re selling SEO with a new label.

Why don’t we show up in ChatGPT even though we rank on Google?

Because ChatGPT doesn’t copy Google’s rankings. It builds its answer from what many sources say about you, and ranking well is only one input.

Studies of AI citations keep finding the same thing: most of the pages AI engines cite don’t rank in Google’s top ten for the same question. What matters more is whether trusted third parties mention you, through reviews, comparison articles, news coverage, directories and forums. A Delhi brand can own page one for its main keyword and still be missing from the answer if nobody else writes about it.

A few other causes come up often. Your site may block AI crawlers in robots.txt without anyone noticing. Your key facts may only appear inside images or scripts the engines can’t read. Or your brand details differ from one listing to the next, so the engine isn’t sure who you are.

Start by asking ChatGPT the ten questions your buyers ask and noting which sites it cites. Then check your robots.txt, and make sure your pages state your facts in plain text.

My rule: rankings get you considered. Mentions get you named. You need both.

How do I check an SEO company’s reviews and claims before signing?

Treat an agency’s own claims as the starting point and verify everything else. In Delhi you’ll find agencies with hundreds of reviews and agencies listing themselves first in their own rankings, so you have to dig.

Start with Google reviews, but read them rather than counting them. Look for reviews that mention a specific result, a specific person or a problem that got solved. Then check whether the agency can be found for its own services. An SEO agency that can’t rank for SEO is telling you something. Ask Google’s AI and ChatGPT who the good agencies in Delhi are, and see whether it comes up.

Ask for two clients you can call, in a business similar to yours. And ask to see a real report from an existing client, with names hidden if needed.

Watch for the opposite of proof. A wall of percentages with no client names, timeframes or baselines. “No.1” claims with nothing behind them. In India, false claims in advertising fall under the misleading advertisement rules, so you’re right to be sceptical.

My rule: believe what you can verify, and verify before you sign.
